FLAMENCA Records wraps up its groundbreaking inaugural year with a mighty final release: “LUZ (Club Mix)”, a collaboration between the label’s head STBAN, the rising Spanish talents Varoc and Furia, and inspired by Vinnie Dollar’s viral original recording.
This 2023 iteration of “LUZ” has already received over 10 million views on YouTube, leaving listeners in awe of the raw emotion and gripping vulnerability across Vinnie’s signature vocal tone.
The connection was instant when Vinnie Dollar’s team approached STBAN about reimagining the track for the club world. “Vinnie’s voice carries such intense emotion,” STBAN says. “I knew instantly that bringing this track into the FLAMENCA universe would open it up to a whole new audience. His vocal deserved to live on the global dance floor.” The collaboration was quick to take shape with Furia and Varoc already on board.
The remake unites three generations of artists, all with their unique influences yet in perfect harmony. STBAN intersperses the sultry, percussion-laden flavors of Flamenco House into the mix. Varoc and Furia infuse more urban and electronica vibes, expanding sonic borders but keeping the emotional weight of the original intact. The result is a seamless blend of flamenco textures, trap undertones, and dynamic electronic production that honours the soul of “LUZ” but catapults it firmly into 2025’s club landscape.
The energy is high, but Vinnie’s Arabesque-inspired vocals remain the spine of the track, guiding listeners from intimate storytelling into a global dance anthem. The chemistry between the producers is undeniable-what could have been a chaotic mix of genres instead becomes a cohesive, emotionally rich listen.
At only 19, Varoc is already taking over international stages like Tomorrowland, BPM Costa Rica, Medusa, and more, while hosting radio shows on Los 40 Dance and Ibiza Global Radio. Furia, head of XTR Records, brings a darker, melodic signature that has earned him millions of streams and a strong global following.
For STBAN, “LUZ (Club Mix)” is the final release of his explosive first year leading FLAMENCA Records. The eight singles, a major distribution partnership with Toolroom Records, and stand-out FLAMENCA Live showcases at AirBeat One, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Tantra Ibiza have quickly positioned the label as a defining voice in Flamenco House.
