Amsterdam Dance Event Marks Milestone Anniversary Year, Releases 2026 dates

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) announced officially the dates for its 30th-anniversary edition in 2026, fresh from a record-breaking 2025 celebration that cemented it as the global electronic music event leader.

The milestone will take place from October 21-25, 2026, and will set out to commemorate three decades of developing and commemorating electronic music culture across the globe.

A Record-Breaking 2025 Edition

The recently concluded 2025 edition of ADE shattered new records with 600,000 visitors and hosting nearly 3,500 artists in 1,200+ events and projects across over 300 venues throughout Amsterdam. The festival pulled in record-breaking crowds from not only throughout the Netherlands but also from all across the globe, solidifying ADE further as the preferred destination for fans, artists, and industry professionals.

Last year’s program had embodied the diverse hues of electronic music, from subgenres and live performances to cross-cultural artistic cooperations. The Festival and Arts & Culture programs were focused on diversity and inclusivity and complemented ADE’s vision to mirror the shifting landscape of global electronic music.

Highlights and Standout Events

Highlights were ADE Opening Specials around the city, trailblazing “PRAISE” experience – a ‘black queer church’ vision by Honey Dijon x Audio Obscura at Nieuwe Kerk – and large-scale productions like Klangkuenstler at Ziggo Dome and Awakenings at their new SugarFactory hub.

Smaller, experimental events illuminated SkateCafe, Garage Noord, RAUM, Klaproos, Tilla Tec, Studio Wieman, Lofi, and De Bajes, offering audiences a full spectrum of underground and experimental performances.

Conference and Innovation

The ADE Conference also evolved, with refinements that enhanced the experience of the visitors. Adding the new Pro space, Rosewood, and relocating ADE Lab to Westergas also provided more possibilities for networking and interactive programming intended for the next generation of talent.

The event also featured a lineup of star artists, founders, and tech innovators like Skepta, KI/KI, Eris Drew, Chris Stussy, TxC, ANNA, Chris Liebing, and tech industry moguls from Google DeepMind, Epic Games, SoundCloud, Spotify, COLORSxSTUDIOS, Helix Records, Sony Music, and Tomorrowland Brasil.

30 Years of Driving Electronic Music Forward

Since its founding in 1996, the Amsterdam Dance Event has been at the forefront of bringing electronic music from underground origins to global recognition as both art form and viable business. With ADE approaching its 30th anniversary, organizers are setting the stage for a series of celebratory special events, cross-promotions, and initiatives to celebrate 30 years of creativity, culture, and community.

Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that is still dedicated to fostering electronic music around the world. Its mission seeks to nurture talent, stimulate imagination, and promote the future of the international electronic music community.
