North West Leaves Fans Stunned With Fake Tattoos, Blue Eyes, and Piercings in Bold New Look

North West is entering her own fashion decade.

The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West made heads turn with her darker new style, which includes fake face tattoos, blue contact lenses, and a fake septum piercing. North proudly debuted her dramatic makeover while out at an OsamaSon concert with friends, causing quite a stir on the internet.

In a series of photos shared on her joint TikTok account with mom Kim on October 20, North’s bold style was on full display. She complemented the temporary tattoos and piercings with long, dramatic lashes, intricate henna designs on her hands, and a sparkling blue manicure that matched her braided hair.

Her ensemble was a reflection of her signature blend of street style and glamour – a oversized black graphic top with matching shorts and sneakers. North piled on some chunky necklaces, including a sparkling diamond-encrusted Vivienne Westwood chain that gave her concert-ready style an added oomph.

In spite of the buzz surrounding her bold fashion sense, Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more proud of her daughter’s expression. On the October 15 episode of Call Her Daddy, Kim shared the details about North’s increasing confidence and experimental fashion sense.

“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,'” Kim explained, saying that she supports North’s creative expression. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”

Her oldest daughter, Kim says, is incredibly self-assured and not easily swayed by what other people might say. “She’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care if someone says they don’t like my blue hair, or my this or that,'” Kim explained. “And she’s really confident and is like, ‘I probably wouldn’t be hanging out with those people.'”

The reality star, who also has Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with her ex-husband Kanye West, acknowledged that she’s still figuring out the fine line between promoting self-expression and establishing boundaries.

One moment that stood out for Kim was North’s outfit choice during their trip to Rome this August. The tween wore a corset top and short skirt to dinner, which prompted Kim to later reflect on whether she had allowed too much freedom. “It’s interesting because all the kids are like wearing the same things, but then my daughter tries to wear it and I’m like, ‘OK, we’re never wearing that again,’” she said.

Kim said that North simply just wanted to keep up with her friends, who all purchased the same type of outfit from the same boutique. “She wanted to wear something that her friends were wearing,” Kim said. “And then she wears them and it’s like, ‘OK, wait, maybe you can’t wear that.'”

Even with the occasional mistake, Kim insisted that raising four children, each unique in their own way, has been patient- and flexible-making. “I just think anyone that’s raising kids, especially four kids by myself, I’m doing the best that I can,” the SKIMS founder added.

North’s new style might have raised some eyebrows, but it’s clear that she’s not afraid to make a statement. Whether trying out tattoos or pushing the limits of bold accessories, the young fashionista is showing the world that she’s every bit her mom’s and dad’s daughter ,  fearless, creative, and unapologetically herself.
