This year, Circus Festival 2025 gears up for a transformation of Mumbai’s Dome into one of the most ambitious electronic music experiences in India, come December 26–29.
The iconic venue will be redesigned as a huge arena in a stadium format, hosting a powerful line-up of eight international headliners, supported by some of India’s most forward-thinking electronic artists.
Hosting everyone from The Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Sven Väth, CamelPhat, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati and Loco Dice, Circus has been a driving force in global house and techno for upwards of 22 years. Coming off the back of that legacy, the 2025 iteration of the festival promises to be a boundary-pushing affair once more, shaping the next chapter of electronic music’s evolution in India.
This year’s lineup is a statement in itself. French hitmaker Hugel will close the festival in electrifying fashion, while Jamie Jones and Maceo Plex bring their signature underground energy-along with the potential for the kind of collaborative sparks that fans will be talking about for years to come. Adding further explosive intensity are techno juggernaut Klangkuenstler and the enigmatic I Hate Models, setting up what could become one of the most talked-about techno moments in the country.
Monolink’s deeply emotive live show brings a cinematic feel, while Special Request represents UK bass excellence with an exclusive appearance, and Yousef returns both as a headliner and the creative spirit behind this festival’s vision.
Along with the global headliners, Circus 2025 throws the spotlight on rising stars of India’s talent pool. The national bill features Ankytrixx, ANSWER, Midnight Traffic, Kollision, Film, Kayvee, Reyhaa, Siren 333, Blurry Slur, Blithe and Realmm, with many more to be announced. This curation underlines Circus’s commitment to championing those artists shaping India’s modern electronic sound.
A pioneering stage design inspired by the idea of a “chronoform,” a living machine studying the interaction between human instinct and artificial intelligence, will elevate the festival experience. In collaboration with Panterra, Indian visionaries Pritish Srinivasan, Dan Naidu and Dax bring together a stage that replaces oversized LED screens with industrial textures, mechanical structures, and futuristic lighting designed to increase mood, immersion and emotional resonance.
At the center of the production is a custom-designed L-Acoustics 360° sound configuration built and tailored to the Dome’s specific acoustics, cementing Circus’s view that in itself, sound is the real headliner.
According to Yousef, the founder of Circus Music, this year’s lineup is a true reflection of the entire electronic gamut-from house and tech-house to Afro-house, melodic techno, and hard techno. On tour across the world for twenty years, he says that the energy in India is now comparable to that experienced at the best clubbing destinations in the world.
Aman Vijan, Sohail Chowdhary, Yogesh Popat, and Pruthvi Veeramachaneni, partners of the festival, believe that coming back to Mumbai-a city synonymous with culture and creativity-has allowed the team to build its most ambitious edition yet.
Go larger or go home, Circus Festival 2025 reiterates India’s fast-rising global presence in electronic music. Bringing together a global blend of world-class curation, innovative design, and unmatched sound engineering, this December’s edition promises to deliver a deeply immersive, emotionally charged, and unforgettable four-day celebration.
Tickets are available on Skillbox only, with General Access, Fanpit, and VVIP Lounge options. The festival starts every day at 4 PM.
