No Trouble in Paradise: Hilaria Baldwin Explains Why She Ditched Her Wedding Ring

Hilaria Baldwin isn’t letting rumors shake her marriage.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant playfully addressed speculation about her relationship with husband Alec Baldwin after fans noticed she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring during rehearsals.

When one follower commented about the missing band, Hilaria, 41, decided to respond in true Baldwin fashion, with humor. “Don’t worry Cammy,” she wrote in an Instagram caption on October 5. “Got my Alec stand-in here while he is gone working.”

In the accompanying video, Hilaria cuddled a plush toy modeled after Alec’s character, Adam, from Tim Burton’s 1988 cult classic Beetlejuice. The clip, set to Danny Elfman’s iconic Beetlejuice theme, showed her smiling as she jokingly displayed the toy while clarifying the ring’s status. “And ring is right here,” she assured, flashing her wedding band for the camera. “(Tho I don’t wear [it] to practice because it hurts with the crazy stuff we are doing).”

The post made it clear, there’s no trouble in paradise. Alec, 66, may be busy with work, but he’s still keeping up with Hilaria’s new DWTS adventure. The actor and comedian has been cheering her on from afar as she dances alongside her professional partner, Gleb Savchenko.

And while juggling her growing family, she shares seven children with Alec: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2, Hilaria is finding joy in having her loved ones’ support. Speaking to E! News after the show’s September premiere, she reflected on what the experience means to her as both a performer and a mom.

“I’m very grateful that my family is here and supporting me,” she shared. “I think being a mom, your job is to support everybody else and often put yourself last. And I love that. I’m there and I’m as hardworking being a mom as I am dancing on the floor.”

For Hilaria, this new journey on Dancing with the Stars came as an unexpected twist. She admitted that she hadn’t initially planned to compete and only joined the cast at the last minute. “I just signed up for this right before it started, because it was not on my radar at all,” she told E! News. “So it was one of these crazy last-minute things where I guess people were calling into the show, and then Dancing With the Stars reached out to me, and then I was on a plane a couple days later, and I was like, ‘What am I doing?'”

Since relocating to Los Angeles for the show, Hilaria and her family have been adjusting to their new surroundings. She even recalled signing the lease for their L.A. home while getting off the plane, a whirlwind moment that symbolized this new chapter for the Baldwin family.

Despite the fast pace, Hilaria is embracing it all. “I did it,” she said proudly. “And I’m here and I’m happy.”

Her message is loud and clear: the Baldwin marriage is steady, her sense of humor is intact, and her focus is set on making the most of her Dancing with the Stars journey.
