Taylor Swift is back in her football era – and she’s making a fashion statement while cheering on her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
The pop superstar turned heads at Arrowhead Stadium on October 12 as she supported the Kansas City Chiefs, marking her first public game-day appearance this NFL season.
True to her signature style, Swift transformed the sidelines into her own runway. The 35-year-old singer wore a sleek black jersey emblazoned with “Kansas City Chiefs” in red and white. She paired the sporty look with layered gold jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, and several rings that sparkled throughout the game’s broadcast. But the accessory that caught everyone’s attention was her brand-new engagement ring – a stunning piece designed by Kelce himself.
Swift’s makeup was classic and unmistakably her own. She sported her iconic red lipstick and winged eyeliner, keeping her hair pulled back in a chic ponytail with her signature bangs framing her face. Her presence immediately lit up the stadium, as the camera panned to her suite throughout the game.
The game also featured some familiar faces in the crowd. Swift was joined by Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and WNBA star Caitlin Clark, who is also a known Chiefs fan. This marks the first time this season that the global music icon was featured on the broadcast, after attending previous games quietly on September 14 and September 28.
This NFL season carries special significance for Swift and Kelce. It’s her first in years without the demanding schedule of the Eras Tour. A source told PEOPLE that Swift is thrilled to finally have the freedom to support Kelce more consistently. “Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she’s genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently,” the insider said.
The couple, who announced their engagement on August 26, are enjoying this new chapter both on and off the field. Their joint Instagram post – featuring a floral backdrop and Swift flashing her gorgeous engagement ring – melted hearts across social media. They captioned it playfully, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Even amid her busy post-album schedule, Swift has been carving out time to be present for Kelce. Her latest record, The Life of a Showgirl, dropped on October 3, and she’s been on a whirlwind press tour ever since. Despite the chaos, she’s managed to balance her pop superstardom with her personal life – showing up for the Chiefs games with her signature charm and style.
Since her first appearance as a WAG two years ago, Swift’s game-day fashion has evolved from laid-back looks to couture-inspired ensembles. Last season, she arrived in luxury pieces from Louis Vuitton and Chanel, turning each stadium outing into a viral moment. At Super Bowl LIX, she surprised fans by wearing all white instead of the team’s colors – and subtly paid tribute to Kelce with a delicate “T” charm necklace, an accessory she later wore to the 2025 Grammys.
Whether it’s the red lip, the sparkle of her new engagement ring, or her effortless ability to merge music, love, and fashion – Taylor Swift continues to prove she’s the ultimate trendsetter, both on stage and on the sidelines.
