Monolink Teams Up with Sam Shure for New Single “Your River”

Cercle Records unveiled the release of “Your River,” a compelling new collaboration between renowned live electronic performer Monolink and Berlin-based producer Sam Shure.

The single, out now on June 19, highlights the musicians’ developing artistic partnership, marrying Monolink’s poignant vocals with Shure’s fine sound design. The outcome is an emotive but rhythmically dense track that has already found its way into both artists’ live sets.

The single comes on the heels of recent headline shows for Cercle Odyssey, Cercle’s new premium immersive concert series. After a debut show in Mexico City in April and two large-scale performances in Paris on May 30 and June 1, “Your River” continues the momentum of those landmark performances. The single also comes after Shure’s popular 2022 remix of Monolink’s “Reflections,” which gained more than a million streams and cemented their musical chemistry.

For Monolink, the release marks a direction that has witnessed him combine electronic production with songwriting in a manner few have achieved. Praised for his soulful voice and live performances that integrate guitar and beats, he has played worldwide festivals such as Tomorrowland, Burning Man, and Montreux Jazz Festival. Having achieved success with his albums Amniotic and Under Darkening Skies, he is set to release his third studio album, The Beauty Of It All, in September 2025 on Embassy One.

Sam Shure, on the other hand, contributes his own distinctive artistic perspective to the undertaking. A classically trained artist who draws upon world music and club culture influences, Shure has made a name for himself with productions that defied genre categorization. His first full-length Lanconia underscored his narrative style, and singles such as Deviated further demonstrated his versatility. His success at combining enveloping textures with forceful rhythms has gained him the favor of some of electronic music’s most renowned figures.

The track is part of Cercle Odyssey, the world’s first massive 360-degree nomadic concert experience. Created by Cercle founder Derek Barbolla, Odyssey revolutionizes the live music experience with the convergence of sound, storytelling, and visual narrative on a gigantic 2,300m² screen. With Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Paris as stops, the series features two daily concerts for five days, with up to 5,000 people per show. Every show is created as a collaborative artistic undertaking, redefining the traditional concert as an immersive experience.
