“Bridgerton” Season 4 Sets Premiere Dates, See First Look at New Romance

Bridgerton” is officially back on and the ton is abuzz once more.

Netflix has announced the release date for Bridgerton Season 4 along with a sizzling first-look teaser, giving viewers a taste of what is to come for the popular Regency-era drama.

The new season will focus on the romance of Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson. The streaming giant made the announcement on Monday, October 13, with a brief but exciting teaser that has already gotten fans into a buzz.

The 44-second trailer has the show’s distinctive orchestral score, with Julie Andrews resuming her role as the legendary narrator, Lady Whistledown. The teaser introduces Benedict at a masquerade ball, brushing hands with an unknown woman as they pass each other in a lavish stairway – the faces obscured by elaborate masks.

That is none other than Sophie Beck, played by 29-year-old Australian-born Korean actress Yerin Ha. Ha is most recognized for playing Kwan Ha in the Steven Spielberg-produced Halo series, on which she appeared for two seasons. Her joining of the cast has already stirred curiosity among fans who are looking forward to seeing how she gels with Thompson on camera.

Netflix officially announced that Bridgerton Season 4 will release in two parts – the first batch of episodes on January 29, 2026, and then the second batch on February 26, 2026.

As per Netflix’s official summary, the new season will revolve around Benedict, one of the middle Bridgertons, who is “loath to settle down.” All that changes when he meets the captivating “Lady in Silver” at his mom’s masquerade ball. Their encounter ignites what promises to be one of the most passionate and compelling love stories in the series so far.

Though the attention will be on Benedict and Sophie, most of the original cast will return in supporting roles. These include fan favorites Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma, and Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington and Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton.

The Shonda Rhimes-produced show, adapted from Julia Quinn’s bestsellers, has gone on to enthrall worldwide viewers with its mix of romance, luxury, and intrigue. Season 4’s move towards focusing on Benedict’s narrative has everyone waiting to know how his story plays out amidst the lavish social circles of Regency London.

From the tone and imagery in the teaser, Bridgerton Season 4 is set to deliver more decadent balls, clandestine affairs, and, naturally, the acerbic words of Lady Whistledown. The attraction between Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha already suggests a tension that may match the intensity of the earlier seasons.

As the world waits for the 2026 premiere, Bridgerton lovers can anticipate more drama, seduction, and wit than ever. With Benedict finally taking center stage, Season 4 could very well be the series’ most romantic installment yet.
