Rice Robotics Launches AI Companion Robot with Floki!

Rice Robotics is making waves with the newest release of the state-of-the-art AI-powered companion robot Minibot M1 that it developed with Floki, founded by Rice.

With this innovation in robotics, for the first time, everyday assistance and emotional interaction combine to make this personal robot a real companion. Minibot M1 is built to organize your day, play music, and tell stories, but it is in the ability of the robot to build up an emotional bond with its users that makes it way beyond being a tool: It is a companion able to learn and adapt.

Minibot M1 launch

Minibot M1 is powered by the decentralized RICE AI protocol, bringing in a set of useful functions and introducing emotional responsiveness, making this robot capable of holding conversations in real time, assisting in various household chores, and even providing companionship.

Besides these tasks, users interacting with the Minibot M1 will be rewarded with $RICE tokens, part of an entire ecosystem targeted at gathering data and training robotic intelligence. The launch of the robot will unveil the $RICE token, the utility token of the RICE AI protocol, and is going to be listed on TokenFi Launchpad.

Also included will be staking opportunities for holders of the native TokenFi token, $TOKEN. Airdrops of the $RICE token will also be credited to holders and stakers of the $FLOKI and $TOKEN tokens, further incentivizing engagement in the ecosystem.

AI companion robot

Rice Robotics is more than a startup with big dreams; it has already partnered with industry giants like SoftBank, Nvidia, and Mitsui Fudosan. Its robots are deployed for everything from unmanned 7-Eleven deliveries in Japan to office services around SoftBank headquarters. Having raised more than $7 million in a pre-Series A funding round earlier this year, the company is poised to take on the AI robotics sector, which is estimated to surpass $100 billion by 2030.

Floki’s involvement is the latest in a strategy to push into tokenized AI and blockchain services. Via its sister project TokenFi, Floki wants to enable the tokenization of real-world assets-be that AI-generated content or the robotic learning models-so pushing the boundary of what is possible in the AI space. As robots such as the Minibot M1 get developed further, they will change every day of our lives.

They evolve from simple machines in industries to emotionally intelligent personal assistants. Positioning itself at the forefront of a new era wherein machines are not only functional but emotionally interactive, Rice Robotics says its ambition is to bring much-needed innovation to a growing AI robotics sector.

The Minibot M1 is just the beginning-one day, perhaps a world where artificially intelligent life companions join us in our daily lives.
