Zoey Deutch has gone on record officially saying yes to forever with Jimmy Tatro.
The Set It Up actress announced that she’s been secretly engaged to her long-time beau since June 2025, posting the delightful news on Instagram with sweet photos of their beach proposal.

“Three months committed to the love of my life,” Zoey wrote in her Sept. 28 upload, along with shots of the dreamy setting Jimmy had arranged. The YouTube personality-turned-actor set the mood with a picnic mat, comfortable pillows, string lights, and crisp white blooms before getting down on bended knee in the sand. Zoey beamed her sizeable cushion-cut diamond on a dainty gold band in a darling selfie, looking absolutely blissful.
The couple’s friends quickly ran to congratulate them on the news on social media. One of Riverdale stars, Lili Reinhart, said, “Congratulations, beautiful angel!!” and Vanessa Hudgens chimed in saying, “Sooo happy for yooooou.” Busy Philipps, Julianne Hough, Camila Morrone, and Maude Apatow were also happy about the engagement of the two.
Zoey and Jimmy initially confirmed their relationship on Valentine’s Day 2021, and ever since then, they’ve managed to show that despite their differences, the more they disagree, the stronger they become. The actress has previously confessed on the Betches U Up? podcast in 2022 that she appreciates that they don’t necessarily always agree. “I would be so bored If I were dating someone who agreed with me on all things and thought exactly like me about everything, I’d be so bored by that,” she said. “I mean I am actually currently dating my true polar opposite.”
Jimmy, who previously dated actress Emily Osment, has been equally vocal about his love for Zoey, calling her “my favorite person” in a birthday tribute two years ago. Their bond has only grown deeper as they prepare to take the next step in their relationship.
Zoey, actress Lea Thompson’s daughter and Howard Deutch’s daughter, has all the inspiration she needs for a long, happy marriage. Her parents have been married more than 35 years, celebrating their long-lasting love with sweet messages on social media. Lea praised her husband, saying, “Thank you for making me laugh at the darkest moments and wiping away my tears at the best moments. I love you.”
